Multi-core-cables connect stage boxes and mixer consoles and PA-amplifiers.
Predominant designs are those with low capacitance and screened symmetrical constructions ("PiMF"). With these cables extensive transmitting lines are possible. Due to the special stranding, internal and external disturbances are mostIy eliminated.
Another field of use is in sound studios, sound directing devices, and in professional broadcasting/TV techniques.
